Get your pens or keyboards at the ready and you could win an iPad for your or your school! Write a tribute, a poem, a story or a comic strip – fact or fiction about someone who inspires you.
Primary school children (aged 7-11) maximum 300 words
Secondary school children (aged 11-18) maximum 500 words

Win an iPad for you and your school! One for the winner in each age group and one for each of their schools. The runner-up in the Primary School category will receive a PJ Library goody pack and the runner up in the Secondary School category will receive book tokens. There will also be children’s and young adult book tokens for theie respective schools

There’s no shortage of oys in the world but Jewish News takes every opportunity to celebrate the joys too, through projects like Night of Heroes, 40 Under 40 and other compelling countdowns that make the community kvell with pride.
Pioneering
In the first collaboration between media outlets from different faiths, Jewish News worked with British Muslim TV and Church Times to produce a list of young activists leading the way on interfaith understanding.
Campaigning
Royal Mail issued a stamp honouring Holocaust hero Sir Nicholas Winton after a Jewish News campaign attracted more than 100,000 backers. Jewish Newsalso produces special editions of the paper highlighting pressing issues including mental health and Holocaust remembrance.
